Partner & Technical Director, Verform (Manila)
Albert Fojas’ architectural career began after earning his Bachelor of Science in Architecture in 2008. A Licensed and Registered Architect in the Philippines, in his 18 years of experience in Architecture industry, he is widely recognized as a highly motivated, goal-oriented leader with a proven ability to manage multiple assignments efficiently in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
He built a rigorous technical foundation early in his career as a Junior Architectural Consultant, producing and revising detailed architectural and structural plans for international projects based primarily in Japan. This required precise technical execution for complex developments, including hospitals, laboratories, and high-rise commercial buildings. He then expanded his portfolio to local Philippine infrastructure and commercial developments, handling the technical review and consolidation of multi-disciplinary plans for prominent projects such as a 40-storey Hotel in Pasig City and the Evacuation Centers in different places in Albay, Philippines.
Following his success in the local market, Albert transitioned to handling large-scale Middle Eastern developments during a decade-long tenure in a Dubai base Architecture & Engineering Company. Progressing from Junior Architect to BIM Manager, he spearheaded the architectural teams in Manila Office. It was here that he mastered advanced Building Information Modeling (BIM).
Today, Albert brings this wealth of global experience to his current role as Partner and Technical Director at Verform, where he heads the Manila office. He directly shapes the technical vision and operational standards of the firm. He leverages his highly specialized expertise—which includes establishing strategic Revit workflows, managing BIM Standards, and executing strict QA/QC processes —to empower the team and ensure the successful, high-quality delivery of complex architectural projects.
